An Original Authentic Used Silk Ottoman Kiswa Fragment From The Kabah Belt

An original and authentic piece of the kiswa belt. This fragment was once part of the kabah belt (see images for reference by Hulya Teczan (previous curator of Topkapi collection).

In the Ottoman era and early Saudi era there were times when gold gilt was not available thus the kabah was draped with black and yellow thread cloth.

Many references dating back to 15-16th century can be found in various museums and texts worldwide.

The kiswa fragment measures 10 x 10cm and is framed in a gold antique frame.
