Couldn't load pickup availability
An original and authentic pure silk internal kiswa fragment. Made by the kiswa factory as a proposed model for King Khalid, however it was not used.
The kiswa fragments are available in the following sizes:
4 x 4cm
10 x 8cm
During the late period of the Ottoman empire the kiswa inside the Kabah was red with white text. This kiswa was carried over during the Saudi rule also. When the Kabah was renovated, a new red kiswa was presented to the custodians of the Kabah during King Khalid’s leadership. The kiswa was not approved and the decision was made to proceed with a new colour - green.
This kiswa is original, made by the kiswa factory as a proposed model. It is made from complete silk and is considered as a rare piece.

Our Kiswa is sourced from trustworthy, reputable and well-established antique dealers in Saudi Arabia. Each kiswa piece that arrives is reviewed and checked for it's condition, scent, weaving style and thread count to ensure what we offer is the genuine article. The kiswa is then presented to a Museum in Makkah for further review and authentication. Once approved the kiswa is then certified and shipped over to us in the UK. Once it is received, we cut it by hand and offer it to our customers in an elegant two tone gold frame.
Please be aware that there are many kiswa pieces available online. Many are being sold as originals but in fact are copies/ models. The easiest way to identify a replica is to check the kiswa is made from silk. All current period kiswa as well as kiswa dating back to several centuries before were mostly made from silk. See our YouTube account for more information on this topic.
Please be aware of 'fake' certificates being produced. We strongly advise to check the item itself rather than relying on a document to prove its authenticity. An original product will always speak for itself.
